Scot Fure

Since creating his company, Video Concepts, in 1987, Fure has established an impressive client list including the Ottawa National Forest, Michigan State Historic Parks, Northern Michigan University and the Marquette General Regional Medical Center. His award-winning work has been seen on the History Channel, ESPN and Showtime.

Cutting-edge equipment has always been instrumental in Fure's work. In June of 2007 Video Concepts became the first production studio in Upper Michigan to upgrade to a complete high definition format. Video Concepts--leading the way in both artistry and technology.


Kevin Thomma

Kevin Thomma joined the Video Concepts team in May of 2013. A graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, Thomma assumed the role of Director of Video Acquisition in March of 2014. While at Ferris, Thomma was selected as the outstanding Television and Digital Media Production student for the 2013-2014 academic year. The award is given annually to the student that displays an outstanding creative vision and a strong academic performance over the course of their degree completion.

In addition to his skills in video acquisition, Thomma is also an accomplished After Effects motion graphics designer. He is also skilled in Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer and Photoshop.

Originally from Escanaba, Michigan, Thomma continues to enjoy living in the U.P. because of its many outdoor activities. Thomma enjoys snowboarding, biking and longboarding. His most unique activity is slack lining, which he demonstrates vividly in the Nexstar video on our homepage.
