Scot Fure

Since creating his company, Video Concepts, in 1987, Fure has established an impressive client list including the Ottawa National Forest, Michigan State Historic Parks, Northern Michigan University and the Marquette General Regional Medical Center. His award-winning work has been seen on the History Channel, ESPN and Showtime.

Cutting-edge equipment has always been instrumental in Fure's work. In June of 2007 Video Concepts became the first production studio in Upper Michigan to upgrade to a complete high definition format. Video Concepts--leading the way in both artistry and technology.

Jeffrey Butler

Jeffrey Butler knew he would be a filmmaker since the time he received his first VHS camcorder as a child. That early exposure to storytelling through a viewfinder ignited a passion that still drives him today. A native of DeWitt, Michigan, Butler joined the Video Concepts team in March of 2016 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Film and Video Production from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. That education not only honed his artistic skills, it also laid the foundation for his vast technical knowledge of the craft.

After graduation, Butler began his career as a freelancer in Chicago, Detroit and Grand Rapids, working on feature films (End of Tour, 2014), TV shows, TV commercials and short films. At the same time he began writing screenplays, both feature length and short.

In his spare time he can be found living the Upper Michigan lifestyle, taking photos, and enjoying the outdoors.
